Young Thug Arrested On Felony Gun Charge During 'Slime Language' Listening Party at Dave & Buster's

Update: Young Thug looks to be out jail as a selfie was posted to his Instagram account around noon ET. "Faster then the ficers got f... #SlimeLanguage lil bitch," he wrote. 

Young Thug ran into some trouble while celebrating his 27th birthday and the release his Slime Language project with family, friends, and fans at Dave & Buster's in Hollywood Thursday night (Aug. 16).

According to TMZ, Thugger was arrested on a felony gun charge after law enforcement showed up to crash the party during the early hours Friday (Aug. 17). Billboard later learned the arrest through the LAPD. 

Footage from the scene finds the ATL native being escorted out D&B's in handcuffs by a phalanx ficers into one the many police vehicles stationed outside. The report goes to state that as the YSL rapper was being escorted out, a member his team bumped into a police cruiser, prompting their vehicle to be searched. Law enforcement ended up uncovering multiple weapons and Thug is currently being held on $35,000 bond, according to LAPD records.

The listening event coincided with the release Thug's highly anticipated Slime Language, which dropped shortly prior to his arrest. The project enlists a number the YSL family for assists, with standout appearances from industry mainstays Gunna, Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, and Jacquees. 

A rep for Young Thug had no comment.
