YFN Lucci Was Stabbed In Jail 2 Months Ago – Prosecutors Allege Young Thug Gave The Green Light

YFN Lucci has been behind bars for over a year after he was charged in a 105-count Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) indictment along with 11 others. In March, the Atlanta-bred rapper claimed he was stabbed by a fellow Fulton County Jail inmate with a homemade shank. Legal documents revealed there was a bounty on his head and he begged the judge to sentence him to house arrest, but he was denied.

Now, more information into why Lucci was possibly stabbed has been brought to light. On Monday (May 9), Young Thug was arrested and charged with racketeering, murder, armed robbery and participation in criminal street gang activity. According to court documents obtained by WSB-TV Atlanta, prosecutors believe two associates of Young Slime Life (YSL), Christian Eppinger and Antonio Sumlin, worked to get Young Thug’s permission to make a second attempt to murder YFN Lucci.

Gunna, another YSL affiliate, was also named in the indictment alongside Young Thug. He has yet to turn himself in or be picked up by law enforcement. His charges are far less severe and include just one count of conspiring to violate the RICO Act.

Young Thug’s attorney Brian Steel gave a brief statement to the press, saying, “I’ll tell you the response to any allegation; Mr. Williams committed no crime whatsoever and we will fight to my last drop of blood to clear him.”

In addition to the YFN Lucci allegation, prosecutors have also accused Young Thug of renting a 2014 Infiniti Q50 sedan from Hertz rental car company, which was later used in the commission of the murder of Donovan Thomas, Jr., a rival gang member, in January 2015. He’s expected in court on Tuesday (May 10).
