XXXTentacion's "Hearteater" visual has arrived on Friday (Oct. 25) on the heels of the late rapper's estate releasing the track earlier this week (Oct. 23).
The JMP-directed clip is not for the faint of heart. The visual stars X's ex-girlfriend, Geneva Ayala, who accused him of abusing her back in 2016, as the bloodthirsty main character deep into the darkness of the woods. She cannibalistically begins shredding the flesh of another person in gruesome fashion. Ayala is then shown naked drenched in blood, as she moves onto her next victim before fading away.
"Hearteater" is expected to land on X's posthumous Bad Vibes Forever. The late rapper's manger, Solomon Sobande, detailed the process of carrying out XXXTentacion's vision with tracks like this one in a previous interview with Billboard.
"A lot of records, like 'School Shooter' featuring Lil Wayne or 'Hearteater,' Jahseh saved for this point in his career when he was more established, so they would be better received," he said. "A lot of things he had worked on, almost complete ideas, weren’t finished maybe [they] only had one verse and a hook or only a beat. To fill out those songs, a who’s who of the music industry came out to help us."
