Disneyland is known as “the happiest place on Earth,” but The Ellen DeGeneres Show could come as a close second with all of the surprises Ellen DeGeneres has pulled off.

On Monday, she orchestrated a fantastic surprise for Friends superfan Charlie Puth when the sitcom's star Jennifer Aniston came back on set and shared the seat with him. Earlier this month, the Jonas Brothers’ biggest fans got the shock of a lifetime when Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas dropped by their sing-along session and photo moment with DeGeneres.

Some of the best surprises have been for kids, as 5-year-old drumming protégé Justin Wilson II took on Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way” in September, with his idol walking across the stage mid-performance. “It’s good to see you, Lenny!” he exclaimed while the rock star was holding him.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl also surprised a kid drummer back in May with a video message following Yoyoka Soma’s performance of the band’s No. 1 Mainstream Rock and Alternative Songs hit “The Pretender” from 2007. Having seen the 9-year-old girl perform, Grohl reached out video, telling her, “You’re amazing. So keep it up, because the world needs more drummers.”

DeGeneres has planned more sweet surprises for her guests, but when Melissa McCarthy visited the talk show in May with Elisabeth Moss and Tiffany Haddish, she got spooked by her favorite artist Billie Eilish. She sneakily planned it while on her When We All Fall Asleep World Tour last spring, which is also when Post Malone dropped by Ellen to deliver a surprise message (with a personal show invite) to 47-year-old dancer Mike Alancourt, who wowed the audience with his routine to Posty’s No. 2 Hot 100 hit “Wow.”
