Weezer Tease ‘Carpool Karaoke’ Episode With Fred Armisen


If it looks as if Weezer is all over the place recently, you're not incorrect. The band revealed the shoot on Tuesday afternoon (Jan. 29) with a photograph of a smiling Armisen surrounded by recording gear in a tweet that learn, "Today's driver seems a bit acquainted… #carpoolkaraoke." Weezer additionally shared the snap to Instagram, with a caption referencing Black Album lead single "Can't Knock the Hustle."

The group lately surprise-dropped their all-covers Teal Album, which options their Weezer-fied takes on A-ha, Tears For Fears, Michael Jackson, E.L.O. and extra, plus, in fact, Toto's "Africa."

Last 12 months's second season of the Carpool sequence featured ride-alongs with "Weird Al" Yancovic and Lonely Island, Wiz Khalifa and Bebe Rexha, Trya Banks and Lil Yachty and Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber.
