Jamie Lynn Spears couldn't make it to the Zoey 101 reunion Monday night, so her former castmates gave the show's theme song their own rendition.
"Zoey 101" stars Paul Butcher, Sean Flynn, Christopher Massey, Victoria Justice, Erin Sanders, Matthew Underwood and Abby Wilde sent a video message to Spears during the event, saying "We miss you, we wish you were here and we hope to see you soon," followed by an enthusiastic delivery of "Follow Me."
Spears — who is currently filming in Atlanta for her role in Netflix's Sweet Magnolias — shared the sweet video on her Instagram page, admitting that they had tried to FaceTime her during the reunion but she was asleep.
The other cast members flooded their feeds with kind words about the cast and show, proving that if the rumored reboot does happen, there would be zero beef on set.
"Zoey 101 was such a big part of my life & I have memories with these people that will last a lifetime," Justice, who played Lola, wrote. "Reuniting with them all last night was really something special."
Paul Butcher, who portrayed Zoey's little brother Dustin on the show, shared what the theme song means to him in his post of the video: "Thank you to this song for inspiring so many with happiness and pure joy, including myself."
Series creator Dan Schneider was also present, stating that the recent speculation about the show is what sparked the reunion.
"Some Zoey 101 buzz got me talking with my good friend Sean Flynn ('Chase')… and within about 72 hours, this happened!" Schneider said in his caption.
