Taylor Swift surprised fans during her Friday night (May 18) concert at Pasadena, Calif.'s Rose Bowl by bringing out surprise guest Shawn Mendes.
Together, the singers performed Mendes' 2017 hit “There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back.” Swift handled the opening verse the Illuminate song before asking Mendes to join her on stage.
The duet probably didn't come as a surprise to many fans in attendance Friday night. Earlier in the day, Swift teased the collaboration by posting a clip her and Mendes rehearsing the track. Shortly after the performance, Mendes shared his new song “Where Were You in the Morning?”
Friday night's Rose Bowl show was Swift's fourth concert her current Reputation stadium tour. She returns to the Los Angeles venue for a second show on Saturday night.
