During the KCON 2018 NY Star Live Talk with Billboard on June 23, K-pop rookie boy band Stray Kids teased fans that they’ll be releasing new music in the near future.
"You guys have all seen our pre-debut album and right now we've done our debut album, and let's be honest you guys want more," member Bang Chan said. "So, a little secret, yea, we're still working on some new stuff. We'll be back soon."
He also invited fans in attendance at KCON 2018 NY to keep their heads up as they wait for the new release.
Stray Kids is the latest boy band from “Big 3” K-pop label JYP Entertainment, which currently also houses the likes TWICE and GOT7. They released their “pre-debut” album Mixtape in January, and then followed it up with their first formal release I Am Not in March, fronted by the single "District 9."
During their performance later that night at Newark’s Prudential Center, the members pointed out to their fans that their KCON USA debut coincided with their 90th day together since I Am Not was released.
