Watch Ed Sheeran Get Power-Lifted by The Mountain From ‘Game of Thrones’

Ed Sheeran caught up with one of his old Game of Thrones cast mates when he played a pair of shows at Laugardalsvöllur stadium in Iceland over the weekend. In a short video posted on Monday (Aug. 12), Sheeran is hanging with Hafþór Björnsson, aka The Mountain, backstage when the actor/World's Strongest Man champ grabs the singer by the waist and hauls him up ove his head and then presses him up to the ceiling.

"He asked for it. Luckily I didn't drop him," Björnsson captioned the clip. "He has to work tonight!!" The lift drew cheers and clapping from the crowd in the room as Sheeran — who memorably had a cameo as a singing Lanister soldier in season seven of the iconic HBO series — laughs and gives the big guy a bro hug.

Another GoT cast member, Nathalie Emmanuel (Misandei), reminded The Mountain that, "you did this to me at that wrap party in Spain remember? LOL." In between shows on his history-making tour and getting lifted, Sheeran is keeping busy with a just-announced limited-edition collaboration with Heinz on "Ed Sheeran X Heinz Ketchup" bottles that will raise money for a pair of charities.
