Watch Dave Matthews Play Sincere Acoustic Covers of Migos, Lil Pump & Cardi B on 'Tonight Show'

The DMB also performed “She” f their “Come Tomorrow” album.

Dave Matthews came to The Tonight Show to play on Thursday night (June 21), gamely performing a number re-imagined covers trap hits including Migos' “Stir Fry,” Cardi B's “Bodak Yellow,” and Lil Pump's “Gucci Gang.”

Before playing “She,” a track f their no.1 album, Come Tomorrow, Matthews stepped in front  a screen falling Benjamins to serenade the audience with several solo acoustic snippets f his imaginary upcoming album, Dave Matthews Sings Trap Songs.

Other tracks f the non-existent album include “Hard in Da Paint,” “MVP (NGHTMRE Remix),” and “Propaganda.” Matthews also hit the couch to talk about how the so-bad-its-awful 1991 direct-to-video action movie Samurai Cop inspired him to write the song “Samurai Cop.” To be clear, “the song doesn't have anything to do with the movie,” Matthews assured the studio audience.

The singer also swore that he's never done karaoke, though one time he went to a karoake bar in New York with Ryan Gosling and the Blade Runner 2049 actor killed it so hard Matthews didn't even bother going up. Also, he does not want to sing at your wedding.

Come Together sold 285,000 copies in its first week, the best sales week for a rock record since Coldplay's Ghost Stories back in 2014.
