Warp to Release Daniel Lopatin’s Score For ‘Uncut Gems’

The producer also known as Oneohtrix Point Never returns for his second project with directors the Safdie brothers.

Daniel Lopatin’s (aka Oneohtrix Point Never) score for the upcoming film Uncut Gems will get an official release through Warp Records on Dec. 13.

Adam Sandler stars in Josh and Benny Safdie’s latest full-length feature alongside an eclectic yet high-profile cast, including R&B singer The Weeknd, former NBA superstar Kevin Garnett, Lakeith Stanfield, Idina Menzel and Julia Fox. Described as a “crime thriller,” the film follows a New York City jeweler named Howard Ratner (Sandler) who falls deep into the world of high-stakes beats in his “relentless pursuit of the ultimate win.”

Lopatin previously worked with the Safdie brothers on their 2017 film Good Time, which he also scored, and for which he won best soundtrack at the Cannes Film Festival. Preorder the Uncut Gems soundtrack here and watch the film trailer below. Uncut Gems will see limited release on Dec. 13 before going out wide on Christmas Day (Dec. 25).
