It's been five years Ultra Japan, and the annual celebration light and sound returns to Tokyo Odaiba ULTRA Park for three days Saturday to Monday, Sept. 15 to 17. Phase one the lineup has been announced, with headliners representing all corners the dance music sound from around the world, RESISTANCE stage included.
Japan can look forward to blistering electro-pop from Zedd, international trap from DJ Snake, high-quality hooks from Galantis, and all the Dutch house boom Afrojack. No doubt Swedish House Mafia fans will start whispering their rumors as both Axwell & Ingrosso and Steve Angello are on the bill. Things will get dark when French duo Tchami x Malaa take the stage, but Armin van Buuren will make the sky bright again, and Oliver Heldens really knows how to make it funky.
The RESISTANCE stage holds down the underground with performances from techno queen Nina Kraviz and Ibiza favorite Sven Vath, but the big must-see is a back-to-back set from John Digweed and Nicole Moudaber. Tickets for the three-day September event are on sale now.
