Reports by The Verge have announced an oncoming strike organized by Uber and Lyft drivers. The two-hour strike is set to occur around the world on Wednesday within several major cities such as New York, Boston, Los Angeles, and Philadelphia. The latter is done to stumble Uber's stock market launch. Several labor groups have previously protested about Uber's practices, deeming their payment and labor affairs as unsatisfactory. The workers are purposely planning to meddle with the ride-hail apps during the morning rush, an hour before Uber is set to open up to public markets.
