The song follows “Stressed Out” & “Heathens” as the duo’s third No. 1.
Despite losing the lead on Billboard's Alternative Songs airplay chart to Weezer's "Africa" after a two-week reign, twenty one pilots' "Jumpsuit" leaps to No. 1 on the all-rock-format Rock Airplay ranking (dated Aug. 11), up 5 percent to 10.8 million audience impressions in the tracking week, according to Nielsen Music.
"Jumpsuit" is the duo's third No. 1 on the list, following "Heathens" (nine weeks beginning in September 2016) and "Stressed Out" (seven, 2015-16).
The coronation "Jumpsuit" is fueled by gains at all rock radio formats. Despite falling to No. 2 on Alternative Songs, "Jumpsuit" increases in overall spins at the format by 4 percent. It also nears the top 20 on Mainstream Rock Songs, bumping 24-21 (up 22 percent), and is bubbling under Adult Alternative Songs.
"Jumpsuit" is the lead single from Trench, twenty one pilots' fifth studio album, due Oct. 5. It's one three songs released from the record so far, along with "Nico and the Niners" and "Levitate."
