TV Vet Clara Pablo Joins Walter Kolm Entertainment as SVP Marketing

Clara Pablo has joined Walter Kolm Entertainment as SVP Marketing to focus on global marketing strategy for a star roster that includes CNCO, Maluma and Wisin.

Pablo will also work closely with Colombian superstar Carlos Vives and Sylvester Dangond in a role that taps into more than 15 years industry experience with specialties in public relations, marketing and artist and label relations expertise. In her tenure, Pablo has worked with recording artists in multiple genres through album releases, awards shows, concert tours and crisis management. 

“I’m thrilled to welcome Clara to the WK Family,” Kolm said. “Her expertise, relationships and global thinking will be a big asset to our company. I’m certain she will help us get our artists to the next level.”

Pablo, known for her keen ability to connect with artists as she helped shape their careers through the years, began in music as a publicist at Universal Music Latin Entertainment. Eventually she was promoted to national media publicity and marketing manager. In 2011, she joined Univision, where she most recently served as senior director for music, working with some Latin music's biggest names. 

Among several television posts at the start her career, Pablo's internship at Univision's national morning show “Despierta America” proved to be key as she studied communications at Florida International University, according to her ficial biography. A few years later she focused her career track in music.

Pablo became the first Latino ambassador for the National Breast Cancer Foundation after being diagnosed at 36 and made her experience public as a way to help other women, encouraging self-check exams every month.

Pablo joined her WKE colleagues this week. She is based in Miami.
