Truth hits the "Mic Like Boom".

Queens rapper, Truth just released his sophomore LP The Fight for Survival late last month and he is still on the promotional run so he shared the video for the song “Mic Like Boom” to keep things running. The track which is off the aforementioned LP sees the rapper teaming up with producer JK1 The Supernova who laces a tough as nails, boom-bap beat to match. Truth goes on a solo mission and puts his most battle-ready rhymes on display. The lyrically-charged banger also features precise cuts supplied by PF Cuttin (of Blahzay Blahzay fame), whose use of a famous Wu-Tang sample on the hook is perfectly fitting.

The video, which was directed by Tha Embassy Elite x OnTime Films, centers on the tenacity and realness permeating through Truth’s bars. And much like his rhymes, the visuals feature both raw and stylish qualities. For every scene where Truth gets to showcase his rhymes with minimal frills, there are stylized elements that bring a cinematic and engaging flair to the presentation.

Check out the visuals and head over to your preferred digital outlet to support The Fight For Survival, which is available now for pre-order on vinyl  Fat BeatsTuff Kong, and Get On Down, who also have pre-orders available on CD.
