Troye Sivan Announces Fall 'Bloom' Tour, Talks Performing With Taylor Swift

Over the last few months, Australian pop star Troye Sivan has become a master at teasing his fans on social media. One minute, he's tweeting about his life and his love his fans, and the next, he's sending out a series cryptic messages, making fans wonder if they’re lyrics, hints at what’s to come or just strange tweets.

Tuesday (May 29) was certainly no exception — after an appearance on the Today Show, Sivan tweeted out a video announcing his upcoming fall tour to promote his new album, Bloom. The singer told the Today Show hosts before sending out the tweet about the tour. “It’s happening in the fall, and I can’t wait to see everyone,” he said.

But the announcement the “Bloom Tour” did not include ficial dates; instead, the tweet, which fered that there would be “details to come,” featured a video where the names a number US cities flashed quickly across the screen.

Sivan also spoke to the Today Show hosts about getting the opportunity to perform with Taylor Swift on one her recent tour stops. “I was like, ‘I’m going to try my luck and try to get a free ticket to her show,’” he said. “And she said, ‘You know what, you can come if you sing with me.’ It was a really surreal moment, and more people than I’d seen in my entire life.”
