Travis Scott Turns Down Fan Trying To Buy Air Jordan 1 High Off His Feet

West Orange, New Jersey – Travis Scott is a force to be reckoned with in sneaker culture. His line of Nike collaborations is some of the rarest and most expensive sneakers on the resale market, with pairs averaging in the $1100 range. Fans have to be on point come release day for a pair of Travis Scott sneakers, or else they’ll be missing out.

That’s what allegedly happened to a fan over the weekend caught on camera trying to buy a pair of ultra-rare sneakers off Travis Scott. In the clip shared all over social media, La Flame is wearing a pair of unreleased Travis Scott Fragment Air Jordan 1 High sneakers at a basketball tournament hosted by NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving at West Orange High School in New Jersey. As usual, eyes were glued to the Houston megastar, but fans gave extra attention to the limited edition heat on Scott’s feet.

One fan in particular whipped out a load of cash to hand to Scott for the sneakers. Travis Scott was thankful for the fan’s offer but signaled the sneakers weren’t leaving his feet. The fan continued to get the “SICKO MODE” rapper to cough up the kicks, but he got a “no” hand gesture from him instead.

The eager fan was left disappointed, much like everyone else who tried their hand at purchasing the Travis Scott Fragment Air Jordan 1 Low sneaker this weekend. Nike and Scott unleashed the low-cut variation of the sneaker he wore in the video on August 14, and it sold out just as fast as they were put up on sites.

For those looking to get their hands on the sneaker, resellers are putting them up on StockX for an average price of $1300.
