The L.A.-based rock band took to Twitter Wednesday (May 1) to tease a photo of themselves and suggest new music may be featured on their upcoming tour.
The comedic post shows the four members of the group -- Danny Carey, Adam Jones, Maynard James Keenan and Justin Chancellor -- each with their own thought bubble. Tool vocalist Keenan is shown looking off to the side with his thought reading, "Feelin cute. Might play some new material on this upcoming tour. idk."
It's been a long time coming for fans of the legendary rockers, who released their last album, 10,000 Days, 13 years ago. The informal announcement comes just days before Tool hits the road for their U.S. tour, beginning in Jacksonville, Fla. on May 5.
