Tom Brady In Recruitment Mode During Workout With UCLA Receivers

Despite everyone calling them finished, the New England Patriots surprised everyone this year and won their sixth Super Bowl in the last two decades. Quarterback Tom Brady and head coach Bill Belichick have been around for every single one of them and despite being 41 years old, Brady still wants to play for a few more seasons. During the offseason, stud tight end Rob Gronkowski announced his retirement from the game which has left Brady with some limited options when it comes to potential targets.

With the team in dire need for receiving talent, Brady made a trip to UCLA Bruins football facility where he did a spur of the moment throwing session with some of the team’s best wide receivers in Chase Cota, Kyle Philips, and Demetric Felton. While Brady didn’t go specifically to recruit these players, the receivers had an opportunity to catch passes in front of the best quarterback of all time, which has to count for something.

“Got to work with THE GOAT today,” Cota said afterward, according to TMZ. “What an opportunity, go Bruins!”

Brady has said that he hopes to play until he’s 45 so if he can make that happen, perhaps we will see one of these receivers on the Patriots alongside him.
