Thom Yorke Debuts Haunting 'Has Ended' From the 'Suspiria' Soundtrack: Listen

Radiohead’s Thom Yorke launched the music “Has Ended” off the upcoming Suspiria (2018) rating Wednesday (Oct. three).

The ballad entails eerie noises, repetitive bass notes and a easy drum sample. The 49-year-old rocker's voice joins round a minute in, with the strains, “I wakened in a metropolis/The troopers had come dwelling.”

While the chilling monitor has few strains and little construction, Yorke’s singing strengthens on the chorus-like line, “Saying we received’t make this error once more.” Later, the drums and bass drop out, lending the music one in all many noticeably unsettling moments.

The monitor was launched alongside a trippy, brilliant blue and pink animated video depicting imprecise humanlike shapes to match the lyrics. It's the second music (following "Suspirium" on Sept. four) Yorke has launched off his 25-song soundtrack for Luca Guadagnino's remake of the 1977 horror cult basic.

Suspiria's rating drops the day of the movie's U.S. launch (Oct. 26) XL Recordings.
