The Lady Rage is feeling much better thanks to the fans’ love and support during her hospitalization.
Fellow rapper and dear friend Yo Yo broke the news that Rage, whose real name is Robin Yvette Allen, was in the hospital and urge fans to send their prayers and well wishes to her. Rage has yet to disclose the reason for her hospitalization but she is humbled by the fans' heartfelt messages.
"I just want to Thank everyone who has been showing me and overwhelming amount love, support, prayers, visits, phone calls, well wishes," she wrote on her Instagram account (see photo above). "It means so much...I never knew so many people cared. I'm really grateful to all you who have taken the time to send a lil love my way."
Rage was a former artist on Death Row Records along with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, the Dogg Pound and others. She made her ficial rap debut on Dr. Dre's classic album, The Chronic ("Stranded on Death Row"). She would delivered her rough and rugged rhymes on her 1994 hit single, "Afro Puffs."
Rage also dabbled in acting with a recurring role on The Steve Harvey Show (from 1997-2000) and appearing in Ice Cube's flick Next Friday, playing Baby D, the sister Day Day's ex-girlfriend.
