The Game is gearing up for the final chapter.
After a series of delays, the Compton rapper has announced that his last album Born 2 Rap will now arrive in November his newly-launched imprint Prolific Records.
“To my day 1 fans & those waiting on the album…. I know I’ve been quiet but I’ve been grinding, tightening up the album for a November release,” he told his 11 million Instagram followers. “In the process, I started @prolificrecordsla & I will drop my last studio album #Born2Rap on this imprint.”
The album was previously due in October. In August, he dropped the Mad Max-inspired video for his street single “West Side” co-starring Dave East and Jackie Long.
Born 2 Rap marks Game’s ninth album and first since 2016’s 1992. Earlier this year, he previewed the project, including collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Meek Mill, 21 Savage, Migos, Anderson .Paak, Eric Bellinger, and Snoh Aalegra.
“I put everything I had into this album,” he told fans. “My TRUE FANS deserve this CLASSIC!!!”
