Drake is the Michael Jackson of hip-hop, according to The Game.

While discussing a potential Verzuz with 50 Cent during his interview with Power 106’s “L.A. Leakers,” the Compton rapper took a moment to pay tribute to his friend from the North, comparing him to the King of Pop.

“There’s only one artist alive that has more No. 1 albums than me. I think Drake has 10 and his last effort [Dark Lane Demo Tapes] was 11,” said Game before proclaiming Drake’s greatness.

“Drake is amazing. He’s like the Michael Jackson of hip-hop,” he added. “There’s no writer, there’s no artist like Drake. He different. Everything Drake does is amazing.”

Game, who collaborated with Drizzy on his 2015 single “100,” went on to tout Drake’s influence. “He gets on an unsigned artist’s record, the unsigned artist becomes a major artist. He puts out songs that women love to death, that you love…”

This is not the first time Drake has been compared to MJ. Fat Joe also gave props to October’s Very Own, calling him the Michael Jackson of this generation.

“Drake is possibly the hardest person to get in touch with,” Joe said during his Instagram Live show. “And let’s be clear: Every song he does goes No. 1. He’s just like the Michael Jackson of this time.”

Earlier this year, Drake surpassed Michael Jackson for the most top 10 entries on the Billboard Hot 100 with DJ Khaled’s “Popstar” and “Greece,” his 39th and 40th top 10s. And more hits are in his future. His sixth studio album, Certified Lover Boy, is due in January.
