Taylor Swift Rules Hot Tours Tally With Start of 'Reputation' Tour Third Leg

Taylor Swift rules Billboard’s Hot Tours ranking, dated July 14, thanks to a pair tour dates reported from her Reputation world tour in Louisville and Columbus, Ohio.

In all, Swift’s tour gross for the pair dates at the high-capacity stadiums (Louisville’s Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium and Columbus’ Ohio Stadium, respectively) on June 30 and July 7 earns $11.5 million. The Ohio Stadium set is the top grosser with $6.6 million from 63,000 tickets sold, followed by Cardinal Stadium’s $4.9 million on 52,000 tickets, both sellouts.

The tour is promoted by Messina Touring Group with opening sets from Charli XCX and Camila Cabello, and its Louisville and Columbus dates were the start the tour’s third leg, which culminates in a two-day stint at Arlington, Texas’ AT&T Center at the beginning October.

Swift leads Kenny Chesney, whose Trip Around the Sun tour (also promoted by Messina Touring Group) racked up $11 million among five reported dates, running from Utah’s USANA Amphitheatre on June 28 through Seattle’s CenturyLink Field on July 7.
