The internet seems to have an unholy fascination with Sylvester Stallone and his health. Back in 2016, rumors concerning Stallone’s death were traced to a rubbish website widely known as a source social entropy for internet trolls. 18 month’s later Stallone’s camp has its hands full yet again.

In today’s day and age, if a celebrity resorts to relative anonymity for longer than two months, their death becomes a topic conversation. This isn’t an act in accordance with a legitimate fan base showing concern for their idol, but rather a swarm vultures looking to score fresh carrion.

This hoax oddly coincides with Sylvester posting a fan-made poster for Creed II. The second installment in the Rocky reboot, sets the stage for an intergenerational showdown between Creed and Ivan Drago’s son Viktor. Serving vengeance thirty toes deep, Sylvester Stallone’s on-screen personality ironically brushes with death on a month by month basis. Hopefully the Stallone’s and their coterie were spared the grief. Blink and you missed it, nothing cordial.
