Super Junior's Ryeowook Returns With 'I'm Not Over You'

Super Junior’s Kim Ryeowook returned Wednesday (Jan. 2) with the discharge of his poignant new music “I’m Not Over You.”

“I’m Not Over You” is a tender pop ballad that depicts the phrases one needs to say to a lover after a relationship ends. The sentimental tune is guided primarily by a delicate piano melody enhanced by melancholic strings earlier than it builds to a pre-finale orchestral climax. Throughout, the Okay-pop star shows his crystaline tone, expressively altering pitch with every emotional shift of the lyrics.

The new single leads Ryeowook’s second EP, Drunk on Love, his first album as a soloist since returning to civilian life after finishing his service in South Korea’s navy final 12 months. The EP was initially meant to be launched in December, however because of the artist getting sick it got here out in full on Wednesday. It was preceded by the discharge of the music “One and Only” in November and options two tracks co-written by the singer, the gradual burn of "Drunk within the Morning” and the candy "The 2nd Story."

Drunk on Love is the Super Junior member’s second solo EP, following 2016's The Little Prince, which peaked at No. 5 on the World Albums chart dated Feb. 13 of that 12 months.
