Suge Knight's Former Lawyers Arrested For Accessory

Two the lawyers who had represented Suge Knight in his current murder case were arrested Thursday on charges accessory after the fact.

Accessory under California law is “harboring, concealing or aiding a person whom you know has committed a felony, in order to protect him or her from arrest, trial, conviction and/or sentencing.”

In August, the Los Angeles Times reported that Matthew Fletcher and Thaddeus Culpepper had been recorded trying to bribe witnesses in Suge's case.  Knight got new lawyers not long after that report.

Fletcher and Culpepper were released Friday after spending a night in Jail.

Knight is expected to (finally) stand trial for running over and killing Terry Carter later this year.
