Steph Curry and the Golden State Warriors will take on the Washington Wizards in D.C. tonight, just one day removed from their trip to the African American Museum Natural History.
In celebration the Warriors’ lone trip to the nation’s capital this season, Curry has partnered with Barack Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper Alliance for a special edition colorway the Under Armour Curry 4 which he will debut on the court tonight.
The sneakers were designed by Dez Customz and Kreative Custom Kicks in tandem with the foundation, according to ESPN’s Nick DePaula. The Curry 4s feature a black to white fade with hits gold throughout, symbolizing togetherness and achievement. Additionally, the kicks include My Brother’s Keeper Alliance’s wordmark and logo along the ankle collar, and one Barack Obama’s memorable quotes from his last MBK National Summit speech while in fice.
Curry shared a video on IG moments ago in which he gave a preview the kicks and revealed that he’ll be auctioning them f after tonight’s game with the proceeds going to support the MBK.
