'SNL': Rap Trio Goes to Therapy in Migos-Inspired Sketch Featuring A$AP Rocky

Swag, Lambos, and group therapy. That was the focus a flawless Migos-inspired sketch about a rap trio visiting a therapist to work out their problems on Saturday Night Live (May 5).

The “Friendos” sketch begins with SNL host Donald Glover (portraying Quavo), Chris Redd (Offset), and Kenan Thompson (Takef) living the good life in a music video-like scenario with expensive cars, lots cash, and beautiful girls. But it's soon revealed that the trio needs to work through their issues with the help Dr. Angela, played by Cecily Strong.

“I'm sorry I hurt you. I think I was acting up because I just missed our friendship, you know before the money, before the Lambo,” Glover's Quavo tells Redd's Offset. Meanwhile, Thompson's Takef chimes in with hilarious ad-libs in the style Migos' music.

Rapper A$AP Rocky makes an appearance sitting in the fice's waiting room as the rap group exits. “Friendos! What's happening, bro? Yo, I peeped the ice cream Lambo parked out front. It's hot,” Rocky tells the group.

It should be noted that Glover is a well documented Migos fan. The actor/rapper gave the group a shout-out during his acceptance speech at the 2017 Golden Globes after winning Best Comedy Series for Atlanta, and has called Migos “the Beatles this generation.”
