Shenna Craves Real 'Conversation' in Reflective New Premiere


Shenna has rather a lot to say about the way in which we talk with each other within the video for her single “Conversation,” premiering on Billboard immediately (Oct. 22). 

“Conversation” is Shenna’s commentary on our present, screen-dominated tradition. “I really feel that individuals are so distracted by the media and know-how that we're not having actual face-to-face conversations anymore due to the various distractions round us,” Shenna tells Billboard.

In the visible, Shenna drives round with an unseen man as she sings, “If you need me to like you then hold my coronary heart beating/And if you would like me to speak, let’s have dialog.” Despite the frustrations she’s singing about, Shenna’s delicate, floaty voice provides the monitor a way of calm.

The video purposely switches from shade to a fuzzy black and white tv display, indicating the true nature of Shenna’s relationship. “The man’s viewpoint on this story has static and is blurred out as a result of he’s truly a TV which is the image of somebody distracted by know-how,” Shenna says.
