Shawn Mendes & James Corden Reveal Their Favorite #LateLateShawn Moments in Twitter Q&A: Watch

Well, that's a wrap on Shawn Mendes' co-hosting gig on The Late Late Show with James Corden — albeit to the dismay some fans, and perhaps even host James Corden himself.

But as their episodes came to a close, the pair gave viewers some bonus content by hosting a Twitter Q&A Thursday (June 7), using the hashtag #AskLateLateShawn. They discussed hot-button topics they were unable to answer on the show — like how st Mendes' hair is.

“You know what? It's not that st, because there's just a layer grease,” Corden answered in a video response, running his fingers through Mendes' luscious locks. “You have to take away from the stness to have the look, sometimes,” the singer/songwriter explained, whose self-titled third studio album just debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Mendes' four-night residency included performances tracks from the LP, including his Julia Michaels collaboration “Like to Be You.” Mendes described the live debut the duet: “It was amazing. Julia killed it.” Corden continued, “I just thought it was so gloriously perfect…it was gorgeous.”

Performances aside, the string episodes featured many antics between Mendes and Corden both on-screen and f. One Mendes' comical standout moments was a skit in which he descended from the ceiling a subway station, serenading “There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back” in an angel costume surrounded by a gospel choir.

“The funniest part was getting yanked into that angel suit for you,” Mendes mentioned.

Despite the hilarity viewers got to see, it seems both hosts had a blast during their unscripted hangout sessions when the cameras were f.

“My funnest part has just been the hang,” Corden sweetly said. Mendes evidently agreed: “I'm never leaving.”

Fans can only hope Corden will return the favor by making an appearance on Mendes' forthcoming world tour. See their video responses below.
