Sharon Osbourne Reveals Ozzy’s Collaboration With Post Malone Took ’30 Minutes’

Post Malone and Ozzy Osbourne may seem like an unlikely pair of collaborators, but according to Sharon Osbourne, they were a match made in studio heaven. In fact, their Hollywood's Bleeding team-up "Take What You Want" came together in no time at all.

"Literally, it took like 30 minutes," Sharon told Jimmy Kimmel during a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday (Sept. 11). She explained that her daughter, Kelly, knows Post's producer, and linked her dad up with Post — who is an Ozzy fan — that way. "They spoke to each other over Skype from the studio because Post was on the road, and Ozzy was in the studio with Post's producer."

Though she didn't identify which producer, Post's longtime co-writer/producer Louis Bell and frequent collaborator Andrew Watt co-produced the track. She also made no mention of Travis Scott, who is also on "Take What You Want," but it sounds like Ozzy was a seamless fit for the two hip-hop stars — even if it may seem a little random.

Sharon also shared an update on Ozzy's health, as the veteran rocker has had to delay his farewell tour due to the flu (which led to pneumonia) as well as a fall that resulted in spinal surgery and two other major operations. "He's getting a lot better but it's been a very, very hard road," she told Kimmel.

Even so, they're both keeping in good spirits about it. After Sharon explained that Ozzy showed her an X-ray of his rod- and bolt-filled body, she joked, "No wonder they call him Iron Man, because I tell you — he's got so much metal in his body, it's frightening."

Ozzy recently took to Instagram to reveal he'll be resuming the second part of his farewell No More Tours trek on January 31, 2020 in the U.K., which Sharon confirmed with Kimmel. The two also chatted about the possibility of a reboot of The Osbournes, her latest facelift, and, naturally, Donald Trump.
