Sha Money XL’s Teamwork Music Enters Distribution Deal With Entertainment One

Entertainment One (eOne) has signed a new exclusive distribution deal with producer and A&R executive Sha Money XL's Teamwork Music label, the companies announced Thursday (Sept. 5).
Sha Money XL (née Michael Clervoix) was formerly president of 50 Cent's G-Unit Records until 2007 and then went on to serve as vp A&R at Def Jam, where he was responsible for 2 Chainz and Big K.R.I.T. From there, he joined Epic Records under then-chairman and CEO Antonio 'L.A.' Reid as executive vp A&R, working with Bobby Schmurda and Yo Gotti. Most recently, he worked with Joyner Lucas' management team.
As a producer, Sha Money XL worked with artists including 50 Cent, Juvenile, Mac Miller, Lloyd Banks, Mobb Deep, Junior M.A.F.I.A., Slim Thug, Snoop Dogg, G-Unit, Tupac Shakur and others.
“We are excited to have Sha Money and Teamwork in the eOne family," said Sean Stevenson, eOne’s executive vp and GM, Music, in a statement. "He has been a staple in the Hip-Hop world and we are honored to distribute his artists and contribute to his vision for the future of the industry."
Teamwork Music is currently home to developing artists Tedy Andreas and Eubanks. Andreas' new album, Andreas Soriano, is scheduled for an October release and a new album by Eubanks is planned for November.
"I'm so ready to usher in some future legends in Hip-Hop," added Sha Money XL. "My gift for picking the right artists is deep rooted from my love for all genres of music. Teamwork Music is a reflection of the most talented, creative, and innovative Hip-Hop artists. The ‘Chain is on the Bike!'"
Last month, it was announced toy maker Hasbro was purchasing eOne as part of a $4 billion all-cash transaction. While the deal was mainly to obtain eOne's top children's properties including Peppa Pig and PJ Maskskids, it also includes film, television and music departments.
