Sergey Kovalev Allegedly Punched A Woman, Charged With Felony Assault


Boxer Sergey Kovalev is being charged with felony assault after allegedly punching a lady again in June and leaving her injured, in response to a report from TMZ Sports. The boxer is claiming he’s not responsible within the state of affairs.

The former mild heavyweight champion was arrested in Big Bear, California again on June ninth after a lady he met informed cops that he has punched her within the face. The girl says she suffered a concussion, a displaced disk in her neck, in addition to a badly damaged nostril.

According to TMZ, the alleged assault befell after Kovalev tried to hit on the girl at a celebration earlier within the night. Sources say the girl had rejected Kovalev, which led him to observe her and her pal again to their cabin. That’s when the alleged assault befell.

Kovalev is going through a most sentence of 4 years in jail as he’s being charged with assault by way of drive prone to trigger nice bodily damage. The Russian boxer has already appeared in court docket and has pleaded not responsible to the cost. He might be again in court docket in March.
