When Sabrina Carpenter confirmed up on The Late Late Show along with her new pop single “Almost Love” Monday (Oct. 1), she didn't simply sing: she painted the stage along with her music. Literally.
Sitting on a white stage stocked with Roman columns and statues, the previous Girl Meets World star started her efficiency wanting like an actress caught in the course of a play. The theatrics elevated as image frames on the again wall of the room-like set started falling and fingers poked by the rips within the canvas. Carpenter added to the drama by smearing sizzling pink paint on a feminine statue.
"Can you're feeling the strain rising?" she sang, because the disembodied fingers throw neon paint throughout the set. She matched the confusion with dramatic dance strikes, staining her all-white outfit with paint as she writhed on the ground.
During the second refrain, Carpenter ripped down a nook of the wallpaper revealing a blurry photograph of herself and took a break from the thrill to sing to a statue paying homage to the one within the “Almost Love” music video. The lights dimmed then went vibrant once more because the stage turned one last, messy fluorescent frenzy.
Carpenter closed her efficiency by spray portray "11/9" subsequent to the photograph of herself, revealing the discharge date of her third studio album, Singular.
