Ryan Adams adds Prisoner tour dates - The Music Universe

Due to overwhelming demand, Ryan Adams has added more dates on his Prisoner tour. Adams and his band have added as second show at New York’s Beacon Theater on May 2nd and Philadelphia on May 6th.Β Pre-sales for the newly added Prisoner tour dates begin March 15th at 10 am ET, with tickets going on sale to the general public March 17th at 11 am ET.

His Apollo Theater show on the February 17th release date his new Prisoner (PAX AM/Blue Note) was one the hottest tickets in recent NYC memory. His May 3rd Beacon Theater Prisoner Tour date has sold out. The Manhattan media has heaped accolades on Prisoner, not least which New YorkΒ Magazine hailing the new LP as β€œgenius… the best thing he’s put out in a decade”…

Adams’ Prisoner debuted at #3 on the Billboard Top Album chart, #1 on the Billboard Rock Albums chart and #8 on the Top-200. The album continues to generate some the best critical notices the multiple-Grammy-nominated Adams’ storied career, while the additional NYC date is one several new shows added to the Prisoner Tour to accommodate demand.
