He scores his second-highest-charting nine hits on the survey.

It’s been a big year for RuPaul’s Drag Race. Along with all-time high ratings, a successful season All Stars and some the most memorable moments in the show’s long history, the series airs its 10th-season grand finale Thursday night (June 28).

Now, RuPaul has yet another achievement to celebrate. Ahead Thursday’s finale, the host’s song “American,” featuring the cast RuPaul's Drag Race season 10 (the top four queens from the season: Aquaria, Eureka O’Hara, Kameron Michaels and Asia O’Hara), debuts at No. 12 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Song Sales charts. “American” sold 2,000 downloads in the week ending June 21, according to Nielsen Music.

This is not the first time that Ru has scored chart success, as “American” is the singer-host’s ninth song to make it onto the tally. In fact, only one his other songs, “Kitty Girl,” featuring the cast All Stars 3, made it to a higher peak position than “American” (No. 8 in March).

“American” received extra exposure from the queens' show-stopping performance to it on the 12th episode the latest season Drag Race. A similar bump occurred with “Kitty Girl,” after its sync on All Stars 3. That track also made it to No. 18 on the sales, streaming and airplay-based Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

RuPaul boasts three entries on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100: “Supermodel (You Better Work)” (No. 45, 1993); “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart” with Elton John (No. 92, 1994); and “Snapshot” (No. 95, 1996).
