RUFUS DU SOL Explores Outer Lands With 'No Place' Watch

Prepare yourself. RÜFÜS DU SOL is about to have their biggest year ever.

The Australian trio came out the gate strong on first album ATLAS, and they really hit it big with sophomore effort Bloom, thanks in part to the single “Innerbloom.” Now, third album SOLACE, scheduled for fall release, is primed for absolute takeover. Lead single “No Place” gave the trio their first Hot Dance/Electronic Songs hit, with a peak No. 31, and double-headlining performances across two weekends Electric Forest festival has us convinced the band is about to skyrocket.

On Wednesday (July 11), fans can dive deep into the desert world that inspired RÜFÜS' latest work with an ficial music video. It's a little bit sci-fi with some exploratory magic. The video's director Alex George explains further:

“The robes are a way travel through time and dimensions,” George is quoted in a press release. “It’s that feeling when you're at the beach, and you're rugged up in a towel with just the sun peeking through. There is something about that feeling; about being in yourself and being somewhere very specific. I think I'm only recently starting to understand real gratitude. It always felt like this feeling you had to feel when someone gives you something, but it snuck up on me. What that feeling actually is. That's what the song is about to me. Realizing out all the infinite possibilities and places you could be, you are here, and it's great.”
