Layto — a Boston-based roofer and custodial worker-turned-indie act — is debuting his newest single, “The Low Boy,” completely on Billboard in the present day (Dec. three).
The hip-hop-singed various pop monitor explores themes of endurance and braveness, whereas a catchy hook lends the tune a large power. “Everybody say no boy,” Layto asserts on the refrain, “You are going too low boy/ Just choose up and run/ No I can’t be finished.”
