On the heels hopping on Khalid and Normani's "Love Lies (Remix)," Rick Ross reconnects with Future for "Green Gucci Suit." The uptempo track dropped on Friday (June 22) and is the latest single slated to appear on Rozay's highly anticipated Port Miami II: Born To Kill album. The 42-year-old previously unleashed the original Port Miami way back in 2006.
Ross has been a staunch supporter Meek Mill while he was imprisoned for violating his bail at the end 2017; the Maybach Music Group frontman gives a shout-out to the "Free Meek Mill" movement on the brash tune's final verse: "Eight-figure contracts like I really hoop/Blowin' six smoke like it's 4/20/Screamin' 'Free Meek Mill,' count more money/Candy on the Chevy, Gucci on the top."
The Miami native was hospitalized after being found unconscious at his home due to heart-related issues in March. He expanded on his road to recovery with Us just last month (May 15). "I’m good. Nothing has really changed. It’s about being my best self and focusing on the music. I’m enjoying life and living life to the fullest," The Boss explained.
