The hip-hop community has been mourning the tragic loss of Nipsey Hussle in various ways. The rapper was murdered in front of his Marthon Clothing store in Los Angeles late last weekend, and on Friday (April 5), Rick Ross posted a video to social media of a freshly inked tattoo featuring a portrait of Neighborhood Nip's face on his leg.
Rozay and Nipsey have joined forces to combine their gritty street raps on numerous occasions over the years. Ross even supported Nip during his Proud 2 Pay campaign, selling his Crenshaw mixtape in 2013. "She just laced me with the new tat. R.I.P. to Nipsey Hussle. We got some more time to do. We got some more details to do," Da Boss said while showing off the lifelike design commemorating his fallen friend.
Ross then divulged that he recently collaborated on an upcoming track with Nipsey and Teyana Taylor that they were preparing to shoot a video for. "It's about what the culture lost. You know the young homie was pure, his heart was pure," he said of Nip's legacy. "Hopefully, Nipsey inspired some more young leaders."
