The entire artistic world mourns the passing of Marvel Comics mastermind Stan Lee. The 95-year-old gave a lot to the world, together with timeless heroes together with Spider-Man, The X-Men, The Hulk, Iron Man and so many extra. Steve Aoki described him as soon as as "the middle of essentially the most good imaginations," including that, as a toddler, he would dream of inhabiting the colourful pages of Lee's beloved comedian worlds.
Aoki as soon as had the pleasure of interviewing Lee concerning the future. It was in promotion of his Neon Future album sequence, the third of which was launched on Friday. In honor of Lee's life and legacy, we revisit that interview beneath.
Lee mentioned he hoped "little or no" of what he wrote about would come to be, though he didn't have an optimistic view for humanity.
"I feel finally the world will blow itself up," Lee says. "We're getting so good at explosives and missiles, finally some nut goes to return alongside and launch a missile towards one other nation, throw one again there, earlier than it -- poof. Maybe I've been writing too many comedian books. Maybe that's been indoctrinated in my thoughts an excessive amount of. I'm going to attempt to be the opposite manner and say 'I feel a Neon Future can be simply nice.'"
