On Thursday (Jan. three), Rami Malek confirmed his long-rumored relationship with Bohemian Rhapsody co-star Lucy Boynton. The pair arrived individually to the Palm Springs International Film Festival's Film Awards Gala, however Malek acknowledged their relationship in his acceptance speech.
He started by saying, "I’m simply actually honored to be right here, so thanks to the Palm Springs Film Festival. It’s a privilege, it’s not misplaced on me and I’m so appreciative."
He then addressed Boynton and stated, "Thank you, Lucy Boynton. You have been my ally, my confidant, my love. Thank you a lot."
The couple met whereas filming Bohemian Rhapsody again in 2017, with Malek starring as late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury and Boynton taking part in Mercury's first fiancée Mary Austin. Relationship rumors have been circling them since April, with stories that Malek would often go to Boynton in London.
