With the Aubrey and the Three Amigos Tour set to kick f Friday night (Aug. 10) in Kansas City, Missouri, Quavo unleashed a trio new solo tracks to coincide with the onset the North American trek. "Lamb Talk," "Bubblegum," and "Workin Me" all hit streaming services without warning shortly after midnight Friday.
The 27-year-old fered up an assist on DJ Khaled's latest anthem "No Brainer," alongside Justin Bieber and Chance The Rapper, to close out July. The blockbuster tune premiered at No. 5 on the Hot 100. Billboard caught up with the Migos frontman last month (July 25) where he promised: "a lot top secret music coming."
Huncho hinted at new music arriving on the tour's first day, giving the QC crew fresh material to perform for the fans. "Just to give the fans something new. We haven't dropped that much new music but we've got feature shit everywhere," he said. "I think dropping a Migos record right before tour will give us something fresh and new to perform would be dope."
Quavo glides over the Buddha Bless production and even goes on to compare Quality Control's rise to becoming the new Cash Money Records. "N—-s tried to hit me but they fouled out (yeah)/ Birds sing like Whitney and Bobby Brown house (brrt, yeah)/ QC the new Cash Money Records now," Huncho raps.
