Post Malone's Plane Prepares to Make Emergency Landing After Tires Blow Out During Takeoff: Reports


Following his epic performance at the 2018 VMAs, which included special guests Aerosmith, Post Malone found himself entangled in scary situation on Tuesday (Aug. 21).

According to TMZ and The Associated Press, Malone is currently on board a plane that is set to perform an emergency landing after two the aircraft's tires allegedly blew f during takef.

While en route to London from New Jersey's Teterboro Airport, a source told TMZ that after the tires blew out, the plane circled back around to execute an emergency landing. The plane was been circling over Connecticut, as AP reports, and has since been re-diverted to New York's Stewart Airport, the Federal Ation Administration confirms to a local Boston station.

TMZ accessed air traffic audio and the pilot reportedly said that a plane tire blew out and was seeking permission to circle around. He also noted that 16 people were on the flight. Another source explained to TMZ that the pilot was told to land in Massachusets in order to burn more fuel for a safer landing. The plane had reportedly 3700 gallons to burn.  

On Monday (August 20), Malone clinched the award for song the year for "Rockstar" featuring 21 Savage.
