Pooh Shiesty Strip Club Shooting Case Takes A Turn With New Statement From Victim

Miami, FL – Gucci Mane’s artist Pooh Shiesty was arrested for his alleged connection to a Miami strip club shooting earlier this month. But according to TMZ, there’s been a development in his case that could potentially clear his name.

Alleged victim Frivin Dor, who was working security at King of Diamonds strip club when the shooting occurred, reportedly doesn’t remember giving his original statement to police and blames the powerful opioid he was given in the hospital.

Court documents reveal Dor is on record saying he was given Dilaudid when he first arrived at the hospital, which rendered him unable to recount what he said to detectives. He now says the commotion in the club that night could have been caused by a ceiling fan that fell in a nearby parking garage. He also doesn’t remember Pooh Shiesty aiming at him or even pulling the trigger.

Dor added he doesn’t want to press charges or talk to Miami officials about the incident. Pooh Shiesty’s legal team believes this is enough to get prosecutors to reconsider releasing the rapper on bond.

Pooh Shiesty stands accused of shooting Dor on the night of May 29 during a Memorial Day Weekend celebration after somebody allegedly swiped $40,000 in cash from his pants.

Contrary to what Pooh Shiesty said on social media, Dor claimed someone did make off with the money after he dropped it on the ground. The theft supposedly made Shiesty so angry, he walked back into the club and allegedly fired a weapon into the area where Dor was standing, striking him in the ankle.

New York City attorney Moe GoGatPooh says Shiesty is facing a minimum of 20 years in prison if convicted. But with Dor’s latest statement, that could change.

The 1017 Records artist also faces charges for an unrelated October 2020 shooting in Florida. At the time, WSVN 7 News Miami reported Pooh Shiesty was charged with shooting two people in Bay Harbor Islands, Florida after a failed drug and sneaker deal.
