Polo G’s Cop Attack Case Dropped

Chicago rapper Polo G just got his record wiped clean.

According to TMZ, Polo G  has completed court orders associated with his June 2021 arrest in Miami for allegedly attacking a cop during a traffic stop in which he purportedly caused the officer to suffer abrasions to the face and a swollen right cheek as a result of multiple punches and elbow strikes to his head.

Thanks to the legal handiwork of his celebrity attorney, Bradford Cohen, and the State Attorney for Miami-Dade County, Polo G was able to cut a deal as part of a Pre-Trial Intervention program that affords non-violent offenders the opportunity to have charges dropped upon completing court-ordered programs.

After the “Rapstar” lyricist completed a six-hour anger management course, he was able to get his two counts of misdemeanor Resisting an Officer Without Violence thrown out, along with the other two felony charges against him that were dropped last November.

Polo G never pled guilty in the case and will not have to serve any probation, as the case is now completely closed.

Polo G is already seemingly focused on fully locking back into the studio now that his legal troubles are behind him. He jumped on Instagram on April 8 to plug a pair of his latest feature verses for both Fivio Foreign and 2022 HipHopDX Rising Star Coi Leray’s debut albums.

“2 quick lil walk downs on gang I been playin these Ridin round everyday Go Fw Trendsetter & B.I.B.L.E Gang nem just Dropped @coileray @fivioforeign_8fs,” Capalot wrote in the caption of the post.
