Pearl Jam to Discontinue Fan Club Single Series in 2019

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Pearl Jam introduced on Thursday (Dec. 27) that their Ten Club singles collection, which has yearly despatched unique singles to members of their fan membership, can be coming to an finish in 2019. 

"Beginning January 1, 2019 the Ten Club Single can be discontinued," learn a message posted on the band's website. "Pearl Jam and all of us at Ten Club respect the loyalty and dedication from our members. It has been wonderful to observe the fan membership evolve over time into the tight-knit group it’s as we speak, and we’re excited to see what the longer term holds." 

The single collection started in 1991, with the holiday-themed track "Let Me Sleep (Christmas Time)" because the A-side, and would proceed for every of the final 28 vacation seasons — although the collection took a break for 1994, and the timing of its delivery had develop into extra erratic in recent times.

Most famously, the B-side of the band's 1998 Ten Club single, a canopy of Wayne Cochran and the C.C. Riders' tragic '60s love track "Last Kiss," grew to become an unlikely crossover hit the next yr — peaking at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in June 1999, their largest hit on the chart so far.
