Paul McCartney Debuts Raunchy Love Song 'Fuh You': Listen

OneRepublic’s Ryan Tedder produces on the track.

Paul McCartney has released a new single “Fuh You" today (Aug. 15).

“Fuh You” is the third single out in support his upcoming album Egypt Station, which is due in September. "Fuh You" comes after the releases “I Don’t Know” and “Come On To Me.”

McCartney takes more a pop direction with the track, delivering fans with an irresistibly catchy chorus, funky bass riffs, and violins. The buoyant song tells a raunchy love story, focusing on a man’s strong desire for a woman who he wants to, you know, “fuh.”

“With this one I was in the studio with Ryan Tedder whereas the rest the album has been made with Greg Kurstin. We were just thinking ideas and little pieces melody and chords and the song just came together bit by bit,” McCartney stated in a press release.

“I would try and make some kind sense the story. So it was like ‘Come on baby now. Talk about yourself. Tell the truth, let me get to know you’ and basically I wanna know how you feel, you make me wanna go out and steal. I just want it for you. So that was the basic idea and it developed from there… sort a love song, but a raunchy love song. There you go – fuh you,” he added.

Egypt Station is available for preorder here.
